Just to clarify about "not agreeing on everything":
Mom and I debate, which I love, and always walk away smiling. We have never disagreed on anything major and even on the minor items we are always respectful and supportive of one another!

When I read your blog .... I could see the two of us sitting at the picnic table by the pool deep in "debate" :) I too like it, this is how I get to know the beautiful women in my son's life and the friend in mine just a little better.
